The specialist for digital solutions has been awarded with the Red Dot Award 2018-2019 for its new generation of electronic price tags VUSION. The jury rewards the outstanding design quality of the new VUSION tags from SES-imagotag with the first place in the category "industrial devices, machines and automation at the point of sale". VUSION are the most modular digital price tags. Because of the elegant and slim design they are suitable for a wide variety of applications in every shop. Particularly customer-friendly are the integrated LEDs in the displays.

But the VUSION-series offers much more than elegant design. On top it convinces with its modular design. This includes color, colorful LED lights on the label and a protective screen, which can be installed in front of the display. The cases are available in the colors white, anthracite, black, orange, blue, green and yellow. They are extremely thin and can be used in an environment of +10 to +40 degrees. The EasyLock anti-theft system offers maximum security. Because of that the labels can be firmly anchored to the shelf.

Following the market launch in 2018, the large order confirms the success of the new VUSION-series. With this offer, SES-imagotag confirms its international growth. Thierry Gadou, Chairman and CEO, concludes: "We are thrilled that our new VUSION line has been recognized with a Red Dot Award. In addition to its technical qualities, which are unanimously lauded by customers, this award acknowledges the esthetic triumph of its design, which allows it to integrate with any product category in any type of store a central focus of our R&D work."

Red Dot looks back at a tradition spanning more than 60 years. On 30 July 1954, “Verein Industrieform” association was founded by Professor Dr. Carl Hundhausen. The aim was to help make a more attractive environment, to modernise German consumer goods and make them fit for export and to be part of transforming the image of Krupp in the wake of the Second World War. The first annual design competition was born the following year. With more than 17,000 entries per year from design professionals and companies from over 70 countries, the Red Dot Award is now one of the world’s largest and probably the most renowned design competition.
