Full colour displays and their possibilities

The full color displays offer the possibility to display more interactive advertising and more detailed information. The displays are also lighter than current LCD displays, making them suitable for installation in a wide variety of locations and at the same time easier to install than alternative display technologies. Full color E-Ink displays are durable and reliable. They are designed to last more than 10 years at normal operating conditions. This in turn reduces long-term maintenance and replacement costs. The displays are built to be robust against environmental influences and are therefore protected against moisture and UV rays and are also flame retardant.

Areas of application for full-colour E-Ink displays

The full color E-Ink displays can be used in many areas. They are used, for example, in warehouses, where they are used to mark loading processes and times or to display inventory levels. Other applications include bus or train timetables, airport display boards or public information displays for citizens and tourists in cities. But the E-Ink displays can also display photos in pin-sharp quality  .

The biggest advantage of digitizing the content on the E-Ink displays is the ability to update them remotely without having to print new content and then manually replace it. A single local player can update many displays from a single point.

The E-Paper displays do not require any power and are therefore much more energy efficient and robust than LCD screens. The content is visible day and night and even in direct sunlight. Thanks to full-colour technology, content can be displayed even more vividly and interactively. In the case of timetables and the inventory display, for example, the traffic light colours can indicate the current status.
