Like all displays with E-Ink technology, the models offer extremely low power consumption and high mobility. Thanks to the paper-like appearance, the display is readable even in direct sunlight and at viewing angles of up to 180°. This makes the Color E-Paper Displays suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The screens can also be used flexibly in landscape and portrait format.

For an optimal content on the Philip Tableaux, there are a few aspects to consider. The loaded images should have high contrast values, show obvious details and not be overexposed. Bright colour values, blue or red objects and pure colour without details should be avoided. Content is best created or edited using the apps Photoshop or Illustrator. Vector images, portraits and illustrations are best suited for the Philips Tableaux.
